Regional Manager – North
POSITION SUMMARY
The Regional Manager oversees multiple field crews across an assigned area. This position ensures safe, high-quality, and timely delivery of all projects while maintaining compliance with labor agreements, corporate standards, and customer expectations.

POSITION FUNCTIONS
Strategic Leadership
- Direct and support multiple crews working closely with Superintendents, General Foreman, Foreman, and Project Managers across the assigned area.
- Help implement and execute on the strategic plan for your area, aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Identify growth opportunities within the region and work with your Regional Vice President to capitalize on them.
- Report out to and collaborate with your Director and/or Regional Vice President to ensure operational efficiency, profitability, and quality in all aspects of the business.
- Provide leadership and direction to all employees within your area, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement while collaborating with cross-functional teams across the company.
Operational Management
- Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to safety, productivity, and quality standards.
- Allocate manpower and equipment resources to meet project schedules efficiently and cost effectively.
- Work closely with the Safety department to ensure that all required and recommended Safety training is completed, crew observations are completed, and that all Safety initiatives are carried out. Foster a culture of safety by promoting and enforcing safety policies and practices to protect employees, customers, and the public.
- Work closely with the Fleet department to ensure that the right mix of equipment is available and used in the most effective and cost-efficient manner.
- Work closely with the Estimating department during the pre-bid and bid process to ensure that projects meet the schedules, needs, and available resources of your area.
- Work closely with Project Management to develop work plans and review the overall performance of the project.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and suggest mitigation strategies to your Regional Vice President and other members of management ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and industry partners to ensure customer satisfaction and support business development initiatives. client satisfaction.
Labor Relations & Compliance:
- Serve as the primary liaison with union representatives; interpret and enforce collective bargaining agreements.
- Work with Safety, Human Resources, and other departments to ensure compliance with labor, safety, and environmental regulations.
Team Leadership and Development
- Provide coaching, feedback, and guidance to team members to foster their growth and career advancement.
- Where applicable, provide leadership and guidance for the regional office staff.
Financial Management
- Provide input to your Director and/or Regional Vice President to develop the budget for your area. Monitor financial performance and suggest cost control measures.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Experience working in the electrical construction and maintenance field and/or a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven track record of leadership in the construction industry, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in management roles.

- Strong understanding of construction principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex construction projects.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, and other relevant tools.

- Valid drivers license required.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Heavy Travel (50% to 75%)
WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT: This position will work in a normal office setting, but will be required to travel to and visit work sites. Travel will include long periods of time spent driving and/or riding. Visits to work sites will require extended periods of time standing, walking across potentially rough terrain and occasional bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, and climbing in outdoor weather conditions.
